Terms of service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Duly website and matching service, operated by LSG Group Pty Ltd (ABN 76 687 810 457) under the brand "Duly." By using the Duly website or submitting a matching request, you agree to these Terms.

Who Duly introduces you to, and how Duly is paid

Duly is an introducer only. Duly is a brand of LSG Group Pty Ltd (ABN 76 687 810 457) ("LSG Group", "we", "us"). When you submit your details through the Duly website, we tell you that a licensed insurance broker can help with your business insurance, and, with your consent, we pass your details to that broker so the broker can contact you.

The broker. Duly currently introduces business owners to McAuley Insurance Brokers, Authorised Representative No. 1275357 of Archer Insurance Corp, AFSL 485736. McAuley Insurance Brokers is independent of Duly. LSG Group is not an authorised representative, or any other representative, of McAuley Insurance Brokers or Archer Insurance Corp.

What Duly does not do. Duly does not give financial product advice, whether general or personal. Duly does not compare insurance policies, insurers or prices, does not recommend any insurance product, does not arrange or deal in insurance, and does not collect or handle premiums. Any advice, quote or arrangement of insurance is provided by the broker under its own authorisation, and the broker is responsible for it. You are under no obligation to obtain any product or service from the broker.

How Duly is paid. If you become a client of McAuley Insurance Brokers after our introduction, McAuley Insurance Brokers pays LSG Group a referral fee. The referral fee is paid out of the commission McAuley Insurance Brokers receives on your insurance. The amount depends on that commission. You can ask us for details of the referral fee at any time by emailing hello@dulydoes.au.

Your premium does not increase. The referral fee is paid out of the broker's commission. It is not added to your premium and does not increase the amount you pay for your insurance.

Broker fees. The broker may charge its own fees for its services. If it does, the broker will disclose those fees to you.

Your consent. By ticking the consent box on the form, you agree to Duly passing the details you give us to McAuley Insurance Brokers, and to McAuley Insurance Brokers contacting you by phone, SMS and email about your business insurance. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal information.

Changes to the broker. If Duly begins introducing business owners to a different or additional broker, we will update this section before any introduction to that broker is made. The broker named in your confirmation SMS and email is the broker your details were passed to.

What Duly is

Duly is an introducer service. We introduce Australian business owners to a licensed insurance broker who works with businesses like theirs. The broker we currently introduce owners to is named in the section above. We do not provide insurance advice, financial product advice, or any personal recommendation on any insurance product.

All insurance advice, quotes, recommendations, and policy placement are provided by the licensed broker you are matched with, under that broker's own Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) or as an authorised representative of a licensee.

Eligibility

To use Duly you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Be a business owner, director, partner, or authorised representative of an Australian business.
  • Provide accurate information when submitting a matching request.

How the match works

When you submit a matching request, we pass your contact details and your answers to the licensed broker named in the section above, who will contact you directly by phone, SMS or email.

There is no cost to you for this match. The broker may pay Duly a referral fee when they do business with you. This fee is paid by the broker out of their own commission and does not increase the cost of any insurance you take out.

You are under no obligation to engage the broker we match you with, accept any quote, or switch from your current insurer.

Your responsibilities

You agree:

  • To provide accurate and complete information in your matching request.
  • Not to use the Duly service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Not to attempt to interfere with, scrape, or disrupt the Duly website.
  • That you are responsible for your own decisions about insurance, including whether to engage a broker, accept a quote, or retain a policy.

What we don't do

We do not:

  • Provide insurance advice or financial product advice.
  • Recommend any specific insurance policy, insurer, or level of cover.
  • Arrange, issue, or handle claims on insurance policies.
  • Hold or handle premium payments.
  • Guarantee that a broker we match you with will offer you cover, a better price, or any particular outcome.

All advice, quotes, and recommendations come from the broker you are matched with. Any agreement for insurance is between you, the broker, and the relevant insurer.

How we use AI and automation

Duly uses AI and automation internally to run the matching service and to improve our operations. We use AI to:

  • Route your request to the licensed broker named above, based on the information you submit.
  • Handle internal automations such as routing, notifications, and record-keeping.
  • Improve our service (for example, pattern analysis and team training).

Duly does not use AI to provide insurance advice, to handle your insurance documents, or to issue, price, or manage policies or claims. Once you are matched, the licensed broker handles all advice, documentation, quotes, placement, and claims directly with you under their own Australian Financial Services Licence.

You can request that any AI-assisted match be reviewed by a human member of the Duly team at any time, by emailing hello@dulydoes.au. Our use of AI is overseen by our AI Compliance Officer. For more detail on how we handle personal information and AI, see our Privacy policy.

Brokers we introduce

Duly currently introduces owners to one broker, named in the section above. Any broker Duly introduces owners to is licensed, either under their own AFSL or as an authorised representative of a licensee. If Duly adds or changes brokers, these Terms will name them before any introduction is made.

While we take reasonable care in choosing the brokers we introduce, we do not guarantee the performance, advice, or conduct of any broker. Your relationship with a matched broker is a direct relationship between you and that broker.

Intellectual property

The Duly website, including its content, branding, design, and code, is owned by LSG Group Pty Ltd or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or republish any part of the website without our written consent.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We provide the Duly service "as is" and make no warranties about its availability, accuracy, or suitability.
  • We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from the advice, conduct, or performance of any broker we match you with.
  • We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic loss arising from your use of the Duly service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any consumer guarantee or right you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Duly service at any time if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably believe you are misusing the service.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted at www.dulydoes.au/terms with the date it was last updated. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Queensland.
