Terms of service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Duly website and matching service, operated by LSG Group Pty Ltd (ABN 76 687 810 457) under the brand "Duly." By using the Duly website or submitting a matching request, you agree to these Terms.

What Duly is

Duly is an introducer service. We match Australian business owners with licensed insurance brokers who specialise in their industry. We do not provide insurance advice, financial product advice, or any personal recommendation on any insurance product.

All insurance advice, quotes, recommendations, and policy placement are provided by the licensed broker you are matched with, under that broker's own Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) or as an authorised representative of a licensee.

Eligibility

To use Duly you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Be a business owner, director, partner, or authorised representative of an Australian business.
  • Provide accurate information when submitting a matching request.

How the match works

When you submit a matching request, we assess the information you provide and match you with one vetted, licensed broker in our network. We will pass your contact details to that broker, who will contact you directly, usually within two business hours on a business day.

There is no cost to you for this match. The broker may pay Duly a referral fee when they do business with you. This fee is paid by the broker out of their own commission and does not increase the cost of any insurance you take out.

You are under no obligation to engage the broker we match you with, accept any quote, or switch from your current insurer.

Your responsibilities

You agree:

  • To provide accurate and complete information in your matching request.
  • Not to use the Duly service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Not to attempt to interfere with, scrape, or disrupt the Duly website.
  • That you are responsible for your own decisions about insurance, including whether to engage a broker, accept a quote, or retain a policy.

What we don't do

We do not:

  • Provide insurance advice or financial product advice.
  • Recommend any specific insurance policy, insurer, or level of cover.
  • Arrange, issue, or handle claims on insurance policies.
  • Hold or handle premium payments.
  • Guarantee that a broker we match you with will offer you cover, a better price, or any particular outcome.

All advice, quotes, and recommendations come from the broker you are matched with. Any agreement for insurance is between you, the broker, and the relevant insurer.

How we use AI and automation

Duly uses AI and automation internally to run the matching service and to improve our operations. We use AI to:

  • Match you with a specialist broker based on the information you submit.
  • Handle internal automations such as routing, notifications, and record-keeping.
  • Improve our service (for example, pattern analysis and team training).

Duly does not use AI to provide insurance advice, to handle your insurance documents, or to issue, price, or manage policies or claims. Once you are matched, the licensed broker handles all advice, documentation, quotes, placement, and claims directly with you under their own Australian Financial Services Licence.

You can request that any AI-assisted match be reviewed by a human member of the Duly team at any time, by emailing hello@dulydoes.au. Our use of AI is overseen by our AI Compliance Officer. For more detail on how we handle personal information and AI, see our Privacy policy.

Broker network

Every broker in the Duly network is licensed (either directly under their own AFSL or as an authorised representative of a licensee), has a track record in their specialisation, and has been vetted by us before being added. We review broker performance on an ongoing basis.

While we take reasonable care in vetting brokers, we do not guarantee the performance, advice, or conduct of any broker. Your relationship with a matched broker is a direct relationship between you and that broker.

Intellectual property

The Duly website, including its content, branding, design, and code, is owned by LSG Group Pty Ltd or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or republish any part of the website without our written consent.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We provide the Duly service "as is" and make no warranties about its availability, accuracy, or suitability.
  • We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from the advice, conduct, or performance of any broker we match you with.
  • We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic loss arising from your use of the Duly service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any consumer guarantee or right you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Duly service at any time if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably believe you are misusing the service.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted at www.dulydoes.au/terms with the date it was last updated. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Queensland.
